Apocalypsis (Tryptich)

These pieces were born during the global Covid-19 period, a time full of difficulties, chaos, stress and depression. Through my vision of that phase, I wanted to represent that chapter of our lives that we will never forget. This abstract figurative painting combines the sharp triangular forms with symbolic elements such as a band-aid, a serpentine form, a Yin Yang, swords embedded in the stone and a burning world. The contrast between the vivid colours and the sharp forms emphasizes a sense of warning that demands attention.
